– You're invited! Tickets are sliding scale ($0–$35)
– Jocelyn will demonstrate a portrait session on stage while talking through the technical process
– Attendees of this event will be given free tix to the December 15th exhibition of all the Here Then portraits created during the residency

PROJECT BACKGROUND
This project began in October 2025 as a technical exploration, with Jocelyn R.C. capturing eleven portraits in this style. After seeing them all together as a small collection, she was inspired to continue. With the help of some dear friends who hosted portrait sessions in their garages and living rooms over the next few months, project participation began expanding to second and third-degree social circles.
In early 2026, Jocelyn started seeking grants and relevant opportunities to support Here Then's ongoing development.
Portrait sessions Sept–Dec 2026 will be conducted at Town Hall Seattle.
Pop-up style sessions will resume in early 2027, giving Jocelyn a chance to conduct sessions in different neighborhoods around the city.

Jocelyn R.C. is a Seattle-based artist and photographer with two decades of experience across filmmaking, advertising, education, public art, and independent projects.
